Sharing stories of our addiction and recovery are vital for those in all stages of recovery - newcomers and old-timers alike. GA members are encouraged to speak of their personal journeys, and share their experience, strength, and hope.
2. Volunteers are needed to speak at the South-of-the-River speaker meeting. That speaker meeting is the third Saturday of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up!
3. The Public Relations Committee receives requests from treatment centers in the metro area, and organizes GA members to speak at those facilities. If you have at least six months of clean time, you can speak! If you have less than six months, you can still speak if you bring your sponsor with you.
Take part in a telephone meeting every Wednesday from 8:00 - 9:30 pm! This is a weekly open topic meeting for compulsive gamblers. Newcomers are welcome! While this is not designed to replace a physical meeting, it is an excellent resource for filling in gaps between regular meetings.
